'Elizabeth T. Wyce Bingham' a.k.a. 'Yummy' is an American R&B singer, songwriter and music executive. Former member of Tha Rayne. She was born in January 7th, 1986 from Dinky Bingham and Patrice Wyce. The godchild of both R&B legend Chaka Khan and New Jack King Aaron Hall, Yummy Bingham has been surrounded by music since her birth. Her father, Dinky Bingham is a noted musician, singer and producer who is responsible of hits from Changing Faces, New Edition, Kylie Minogue or Jaheim. She grew up in south Jamaica, Queens (New York), raised by her grand-parents. At 13, she started to work with her father on her very first demo, then when she was 14, she moved to live with him and to work on her career. Her demo caught the attention of producer Kay Gee from Naughty By Nature who recruited Yummy Bingham for his girl group Tha Rayne. While she was recording and promoting with her group, Yummy Bingham was working on her solo career. She appeared in 2001 on the Osmosis Jones soundtrack on a duet with hip-hop legend De La Soul. Since, Yummy Bingham completed some more songs with De La Soul, including their 2001/2002 hit Baby Phat, and established herself as De La Soul's favourite vocalist. Yummy Bingham did hooks and background vocals for numerous artists such as Jaheim, Boyz II Men, Queen Latifah, Next, Jae Millz, Patti Labelle, Philly's Most, Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, Salt (from Salt-N-Pepa), 2 pac or Blacksheep. As a songwriter, Yummy Bingham as written for a bunch of artists such as Amerie, Mya, Tarralyn Ramsey, Crystal Kay, Syleena Johnson, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Chaka Khan or JC Chasez. In 2004, Yummy Bingham became one of the music industry's youngest female executives, as Rockwilder, her new mentor, offered her to become a part of owning his record company (Muzic Park Entertainment) in addition to being a signed artist. Yummy Bingham quickly get signed by Sylvia Rhone to Motown Records (Universal). In 2005, her street single Come Get It (featuring Jadakiss) (used in a Pontiac commercial) made a good impact and was the introduction for Yummy Bingham who is ready know to release her single Is It Good To You that she wrote with Rockwilder (originally for Beyoncé). Her debut solo album The First Seed is expected for a 2006 release.
