MUSIC BITS: T.I. and Tiny; Three 6 and Paris; Swisha House LPs; Kane at BHF; Britney’s bodyguards; Rev Run’s book.

*Rumor has it that the wedding is off for rapper T.I. and Tiny, formerly of Xscape. The two started dating years before TI blew up and have a young son named King. Tiny most recently threw T.I. a very private party at one of Atlanta's naughtiest strip clubs. In other Tiny news, she has officially left the recently reunited group Xscape and formed a duo with short time member Keisha Miles, calling themselves Georgia Peaches.

*Oscar winners Three 6 Mafia are busy producing and recording tracks for a new album from socialite Paris Hilton. "We ran into her at a William Morris Agency party and she said she liked our song ‘Stay Fly’ and asked could we work with her," said group member Jordan "Juicy J" Houston.  On Tuesday, the group was poppin’ collars with the celebutante in a Los Angeles recording studio.  "We let her listen to a dance track and she really liked it and plans to record it tonight," Houston told The Commercial Appeal newspaper by phone Tuesday. He said the Paris hookup is only the latest in a string of opportunities to come along since their anthem, “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp,” won an Academy Award. The trio will be back in Memphis Saturday (a.k.a. Three 6 Mafia Day) to receive a key to the city.

*New albums from Mike Jones and Paul Wall lead a rush of new material due in 2006 from the record label Swisha House.  Jones' “The American Dream” will be released by early summer, and Paul's “Ain't No 401K For A Hustla” will hit store shelves in the fall. Autumn will also see the release of Coota Bang's debut album “Big Bang Theory,” and the return of original Swisha House member Archie Lee with “Hollyhood.” Lil Keke, an original member of DJ Screw's, the Screwed Up Click, will drop “Loved By Few Hated By Many” in the fall through a hookup with TF Records, and the compilation series “The Day Hell Broke Loose 3” is slated for release in August.

*Big Daddy Kane has been chosen to headline the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival (BHF), scheduled to take place on June 24. Best known for his classic 80s hits “Ain’t No Half-Steppin,” “Raw” and “Smooth Operator,” Kane tells Allhiphop.com: "I was one of the first to plant a flower in Brooklyn, now I'm coming back to watch it blossom in my backyard.” For more information, visit the Festival’s site at www.brooklynbodega.com.

*Three of Britney Spears' former bodyguards - Lonnie Jones, Randy Jones and Silas Dukes - have sued Britney Brands, Inc. and Britney Touring, Inc., claiming they never got their overtime pay. According to TMZ.com, the lawsuit filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court claims the guards worked between 12 and 16 hours a day and were often on call 24 hours a day, yet only received a straight salary. The men, who say they were fired last November and did not get their final paycheck, are suing for compensation for unpaid wages and benefits, as well as penalties.

*Rev. Run’s new book “Words of Wisdom,” based on the T-Mobile Sidekick messages he wrote at the close of his MTV reality series “Run’s House,” is currently in book stores via Harper Collins. "More people wanted the words of wisdom because of the television show. So I said 'I can't reach everyone,' so I put out a book," he said. "Harper Collins wanted to do a book on Rev. Run's words of wisdom, so here we are." The first 5,000 people to purchase the book will be added to Rev. Run's personal e-mail list. Meanwhile, the Run DMC vet is currently filming a second season of “Run’s House,” due to premiere in June. Musically, a Jermaine Dupri-produced remix for his latest single "I Used to Think I was Run" feat. Da Brat will arrive at radio in the coming weeks.
