Test Icicles, Whirlwind Heat Members Unite

The frontman of now-defunct Test Icicles heats things up with his new supergroup, Lightspeed Heat.

From the ashes of Test Icicles comes a hot new supergroup: Lightspeed Heat. Devonte Hynes, former frontman of now-defunct noise rock band Test Icicles, has teamed up with all three members of Whirlwind Heat (David Swanson, Steve Damstra, and Brad Holland) to form a new group whose song, "How Do You Do," is making the rounds on music blogs. Hynes himself has been a busy musician, as he's also working on another project, Naked Babes, with members of the Semifinalists and Tom Vek.
