THE Veronicas are warming up for their first Australian tour with an American jaunt which is rapidly selling out as word of the talented twins spreads along the US east coast.
Their debut album, The Secret Life Of ..., was released in the US last week and Lisa said the fans are now singing along to every song, not just the singles 4Ever and Everything I'm Not."We were wondering how they knew all the words before the album came out and asked the fans at the meet and greets after the show," Lisa says. "Mostly they pick the songs up from iTunes or MySpace or MTV - they know where to find them better than we do." But it appears it's not just Lisa and Jess's brand of music the American kids are into.
Lisa says they are seeing plenty of mini Veronicas in the audience.
"We've just started wearing these coloured bows in our hair and now the girls at the shows are wearing them, along with the chequered skirts and big sunglasses. It's crazy," she says.
The girls head back home for the MTV Awards and the tour kicks off in Newcastle on the New South Wales Central Coast on April 13.
