Makes about 5 cups (10 servings)
| 1 | cup whole milk |
| 3/4 | cup sugar |
| 2 | cups heavy cream |
| 1-2 | teaspoons vanilla extract |
In medium bowl, whisk milk and sugar until sugar is dissolved, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in cream and vanilla to taste. If time allows, cover and refrigerate until using. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions.
