Rock concerts at UK Motor Show | Car News | Auto Express
he 2006 British Motor Show celebrates its return to London in July with a series of rock concerts for the motorshow audience featuring artists such as Jools Holland, Simple Minds, Van Morrison, UB40, A-ha, Roxy Music and Katherine Jenkins.
The concerts will take place at night in the open-air ExCeL arena in London's Docklands. It will run alongside the riverside venue of the day-time motoring extravaganza, and gig-goers will get free passes to the motor show itself earlier in

the day.
The Sunday Times Dock Rock events will play to 6,500 people each night, and more acts will be announced to fill the 10 day Motor Show schedule, from July 20th to July 30th 2006.
The British International Motor Show is the biggest consumer show in the UK, typically attracting over 500,000 visitors. The show has returned to London for 2006 after a 30 year absence. More details from The British Motor Show website. Dan Gilbert
