JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Some First Coast motorcycle clubs are teaming up with MAD DADS to stop the violence in Jacksonville.

One Blood Motorcycle Club, The Ragin Bullz Club, and the Tru Ryders Club are coming together for the First Annual Ride for Life.

The event is in honor of victims who have lost their lives to violence in Jacksonville.

The ride kicks off September 2 from Darnell-Cookman Middle School located at 1701 North Davis Street. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The ride gets underway around 9:30 a.m.

The ride wraps up at A. Philip Randolph Park around Noon.

A free cookout and entertainment will follow the ride. The motorcycle clubs will be on hand to show off their bikes to young people interested in motorcycles. MAD DADS hopes the event will show unity in the community.
