Seeded players advance in chess

DUBAI — Seeded players crusied to the second round of Tru Fruit Natural Ice Cream Rapid Chess Tournament for children at Reef Mall. Thrirty children took part in the initial round. Pranav Thyagarajan, Vishnu Vijay, Vignesh and Aniket Mirji won with ease in the opening round.

A chess clinic for juniors will be conducted and the basic moves of chess will be taught by an experienced coach. The event concludes next week. More details about participation, chess coaching and registration may be had from the event coordinator on 050-2876065
