TREY SONGZ - R&B FIGHTER?
I heard many times that Trey Songz gets down for his. He performed on September 15th in Queens, VA and what I heard happened is actually pretty impressive. He was performing at Club Amazura at a party DJ'd by DJ Mister Cee. Anyway, somebody in the crowd continuously heckled the Virginia singer. After a while, Trey addressed it and reportedly said, "To all my b****s, let me hear you say 'F**k a hater!" All the lovely and ugly ladies responded positively and he finished his performance without incident. He was apparently accompanied by a sizable entourage and I don't mean like those guys off HBO. We're talking 30 and up. So, Trey is rumored to be taking pictures when the "hater" runs up and hits him in the face! Straight up steals on Trey.
Well, the dude was on a suicide mission and, as rumor has it, the crew got into it and handled the business. I hear Trey was also leaping into the battle like he was a Wolverine or something, straight thrashing cats. I heard somebody came back to the club with some iron, but nobody was seriously wounded. Now, with all due respect, I was over at Whatspoppin.net and only saw pictures of peace, unity and beauty (as in women), so who knows.

PAUL CAINE
So, I have been - for months - hearing that New York rapper Paul Caine was shot over the summer. For those that don't know Caine is the "brother of Fabolus" and is a sometime rapper associated with Joe Budden. I've only managed to gather a scant bit of information on this so-called shooting but I will tell you this: I've seen pictures (I don't know what he looks like!) on the internet and people wishing him well, but nothing of substance. Anyway, if he did get hit, hope he's all better now because this is really old information.
HOOPZ DOES NOT HAVE HIV!
Listen guys, I've been getting all the emails about Hoopz. Answers.com gets its content from Wikipedia, which generally contains user generated information. There is a line that states that, "In the new XXL magazine Hoopz has admitted to being HIV positive. She says it was contracted by a rapper but she did not disclose a name." You don't have to be a genius to debunk that rumor. So, I'm here to let you know that Hoopz didn't disclose a thing, nor does she have HIV. She has a lot of "stuff," but that’s NOT one of them.
ASHANTI SUED!
According to the New York Daily News, a producer was suing Ashanti, charging that the Murder Inc mami owes him about $3 million from three platinum albums. Ashanti has reportedly countered stating that the producer, named Genard Parker who lives in Atlanta, failed to get her a recording contract as stipulated in a deal. That was until Tuesday when all litigation was dropped. According to Ashanti’s lawyer, the decision to end litigation (from both sides) was “an excellent result.”
JAY-Z UPDATE!
Now, I'm a Jay-Z fan but certainly not a fanatic. Anyway, to make a short story long, I've gotten a track via email that purports to be a new Jay-Z song. I've never heard the lyrics or the beat before so maybe it is - but I don't know every single Jigga song ever. On top of that, I heard the track listing of the album is floating around in the music game. Since I am a bona-fide outsider, that list hasn’t made it to me as of yet.
QUICKIES
Quite a few of the people in Atlanta know about the rapper spreading that nasty STD. He apparently gets around, but not the way Pac did.
I recently heard that Young B of "Chicken Noodle Soup" and pop star Chris Brown were dating. I'm also getting that they are more like good friends, which to me is cool for a pair of good kids.
"I'm really saddened by the whole situation," Bobby Brown recently told People magazine about his looming divorce. I wonder if Whitney is going to take it to the max? What up, Ms Dorian B!
I'm getting word from The Sun newspaper that J-Lo is going to try In Vitro Fertilization to have at least two children with husband Marc Anthony. Whatever works, get yours!
Finally, Maxwell returns with a triple album called Black Summers' Night a 3-disc set to drop on the eve of Valentine's Day 2007. That's crazy!
