'Trapt' is a Rock band from Los Gatos, California, United States. The band formed in the mid-nineties, recording DIY CDs they sold at local gigs. In 1998 the group split with the members graduating from high school, and leaving to attend college. They were reunited in 2000 when they dropped out of college and moved to Los Angeles to work on their music together. Trapt signed to Warner Bros. in late 2001 and released their first studio album, Trapt, in 2002. It contained the hits "Headstrong" and "Still Frame". "Headstrong" was the official theme song of WWE's Bad Blood pay-per-view event in June 2003. They were influenced by Metallica, KoRn and Soundgarden during the mid-90's. Trapt has currently finished production on their second album, Someone in Control, which has been released on September 13, 2005. The first single from the album, "Stand Up", can be heard on the band's website.
