'Tiga' is the artist name of Montreal born DJ/producer 'Tiga Sontag'. Tiga is widely known for his covers: Nelly's "Hot in Herre", Felix da Housecat's "Madame Hollywood" and Corey Hart's "Sunglasses At Night". He produces his own material, but has also worked with Zyntherius, Richard X and Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters. His most frequent collaborator is Mateo Murphy, with whom Tiga forms the duo 'TGV'. Tiga has his own record label named Turbo Recordings. Tiga Releases * '"Sunglasses At Night"' (UK #25, May 2002) - collaboration with Zyntherius and a cover version of the Corey Hart song. * '"Burning Down"' (June 2003) - Produced with Richard X. * 'DJ Kicks' (August 2003) - Tiga's contribution to the DJ album series including a mixture of tracks by other artists and Tiga's own material. * '"You (Better Let Me Love X4)"' (August 2003) - Richard X featuring Tiga and taken from Richard X's album Richard X Presents His X-Factor Vol. 1. * '"Hot in Herre"' (UK #46, September 2003) - This cover version of the Nelly single features Jake Shears on backing vocals and a Richard X remix appeared on the single. * '"Pleasure From The Bass"' (UK #57, June 2004) - Co-produced by Jesper Dahlback * '"Louder Than A Bomb"' (March 2005) * '""' (UK #64, October 2005) - Duet with Jake Shears, produced by Soulwax. The song will feature on his debut studio album Sexor, due in 2006.
