The Unseen Information
The Unseen
'The Unseen' are a punk rock band that were formed in 1993 in Boston, Massachusetts. Originally their lead singer was the star hockey player of their Hingham High School team, Marc Carlson. After he left the band they played as a four peice (see members). The street punk quintet released their best-of compilation Totally Unseen: The Best Of The Unseen (Step One Records [England]) ” which contains two previously unreleased tracks in June 2000. In the fall of 2004 The Unseen signed with HellCat Records. Mark Unseen , the lead singer, formed and currently runs ADD Records. He also joined the punk band A Global Threat as second lead singer, but later left to concentrate his efforts on The Unseen. There has been much controversy reguarding the band and them becoming a "sell out" band. Many use the bands relationship with Benji of Good Charlotte, and among other things to support this. They have toured Europe, the United States, and parts of Mexico with many "underground stars" of punk rock. Since the departure of their rhythm guitarist Paul, the band has used many replacements on tour such as, memebers from The Virus, Strike Anywhere, and F-Minus, however, as of yet none have joined the band permanently.
