This fest aims to practice what it preaches. The event will play by ecological rules in terms of the level of carbon emissions and power consumption and creation it uses, as well as show its festival goers alternative sources of energy, controlling waste management and new recycling initiatives.

Everybody loves being green, and it shows in the line-up. Echo Project has brought together both mainstream and emerging talent from hip-hop, indie and rock in the likes of The Killers, Cypress Hill, Polyphonic Spree, Cat Power, RJD2 and more.

ARTISTdirect is giving away a pair of VIP tickets, VIP camping grounds and airfare for you to go to this year's Echo Project. Enter here to win!
