The Distillers Information
The Distillers
'The Distillers' are a punk rock band formed in 1998. They released their first two albums on Hellcat Records before moving to Sire, part of the Warner Music Group. The Distillers were originally formed by Brody Dalle and the lineup has changed significantly since then. Brody Dalle plays guitar and sings while Tony Bradley plays guitar as well. Ryan Sinn played bass, but left recently, announcing his departure on his MySpace page.
The Distillers are a mix of traditional punk rock and alternative rock. They tour often and are fairly popular internationally.
Recently, the group has been working on a new album that was supposed to be released in 2005 and has likely been delayed until 2006

Former Members
* Andy Granelli played drums and left the band in March of 2005 to pursue his other band, Darker My Love. There are no hard feelings between Granelli and the rest of the band members.
*Rose "Casper" Mazzola played back-up guitar and sometimes sang. She left the band after the making of Sing Sing Death House. She left because she was a heavy drug addict and couldn't handle the pressures of touring. The band members don't have any contact with her.
*Kim Chi played bass and left the band after the making of the self-titled record. She's now in her other band, The Original Sinners. The band members don't have any contact with her.
*Mat Young left the band after the making of the self-titled record. The band members don't have any contact with him.
*Ryan Sinn left the band recently, with seemingly bitter feelings. He stated: "Well, I'm no longer part of the life I knew so recently. The Distillers are no more and it feels like a weight has been lifted. However, I'll never get rid of the disgust inside from it all." He now plays in the band Angels And Airwaves with Tom Delonge of Blink-182
