Pop star Michael Jackson attended a music award ceremony in Tokyo on Saturday evening in his first public appearance since his child molestation trial last year.
     Jackson waved to fans as he arrived at the Yoyogi National Stadium to receive the ''Legend Award'' from MTV Japan.
