MTV invades Western campus

Straylight Run performs Tuesday night during the MTV Invasion Tour on the Western Illinois University campus in Macomb. The network's headline band at Western Hall was Motion City Soundtrack and hellogoodbye also performed. Earlier in the day, MTV transformed the campus mall into an MTV-U Village, featuring giveaways, games and more music. A dollar from each ticket sale for the concert will be donated to Lifebeat, an AIDS research charity.
