With the Jicks in tow

Real Emotion Trash, the first Stephen Malkmus album featuring the Jicks since 2003's Pig Lib, may not be the same thing as a Pavement reunion but it does include the drumming of ex-Sleater-Kinney member Janet Weiss.

This match made in indie rock heaven will hit the road beginning March 19 in Minneaspolis, MN, a little more than two weeks after the release of R.E.T. The band's brief tour wraps up on April 4 in North Adams, MA.
