'Spooks' was a hip-hop band in the late 1990s. It consisted of Ming Zia, Mr Booka-T, Vengeance, Water Water and Hypno and was influenced by trip hop and jungle. They released their first album in 1999 - S.I.O.S.O.S., Vol. 1 which went gold in several European countries and flopped in the US.
