Mixtape: Writer's Block III By: JR Writer & The Diplomats
Rundown: Dipset's young gun, JR Writer, is still hugging the block and that is evident with the third of his Writer's Block series. In anticipation of his debut album, History In The Making, on Koch Record, JR keeps the streets in tune to his world with a 22-track tape with features that boast Slim Thug, Jha Jha, 40 Cal., Hell Rell and Gwen Stefani, among others.

Rundown: St. Laz and the Pottersfield's 30-deep producer team, The P.E.N., come with a 24 track mixtape full of heat, featuring the entire Pottersfield collective, as well as Lil' Wayne, Young City (aka Chopper), Lil' Kim, JR Writer, Big Cas and Snyp Life, among others. Mixtape: Southern Smoke 25 By: DJ Smallz (Hosted by Pimp C)
Rundown: DJ Smallz continues his consistent slaying of the Southern mixtape movement with his signature Southern Smoke mixtape series. With the 25th edition of the series, Smallz called on to the recently freed from prison Pimp C, who serves as host for his first mixtape since being released. Southern Smoke 25 is a 30 track effort, featuring interviews with Pimp C about his future, as well as exclusive music and freestyles from Lil' Flip, T.I., Paul Wall, Slm Thug, Young Jeezy, Lil' Wayne and Scarface to name just a few.
Mixtape: Cali Untouchable Radio 6 By: DJ Strong, Tri-Star and DJ Artillery
Rundown: Founding Cali Untouchable DJs' founder, DJ Strong uses his longtime affiliation with Kurupt and his Y.A. group to put re-introduce Y.A. general Tri-Star into the mixtape scene. The Compton and LA bred Tri-Star, alongside DJ Strong, smash the competition with 19 heatrocks, including guest features from his YA crew (Young Tone, Roscoe, Goldie) and Kurupt.
Mixtape: Myspace Massacre Vol 1 By: Big Mike & DJ Envy
Rundown: Two mixtape heavyhitters come together to flex some online muscle with the release of the offical mixtape promoting their Myspace.com profiles. Those DJs being Big Mike and DJ Envy. The Myspace Massacre tape is equipped with overly exclusive music from across the nation, including tracks from Cam'ron, Mobb Deep, Game, Beanie Sigel, Freeway and Lloyd Banks, as well as up-and-comer like 40 Cal., El Dorado Red and the Black Wall Street's own Riz.
