Rohit saves the day for Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH made a huge score of 308 in 94.5 overs against Jalandhar during the Punjab (Under-15) Inter-District Cricket Tournament for the Sushil Bali Trophy at DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, on Tuesday.

Rohit with 96 was the highest scorer for the innings, he was ably supported by Lovnish (37), Naveen (36) and Manan Vohra (30). R. Thapa with figures of 4 for 68 and Pargat Singh with 3 for 73 were the main wicket takers for Jalandhar.

Patiala in command on Day One

PATIALA: Courtesy a fabulous unbeaten 63 by Karan Sidhu and a spell of 4 for 20 by Amarinder, helped place Patiala in a comfortable position against Ropar in their match at the Dhruv Pandove Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Mohali XI restrict Sangrur XI

S.A.S. Nagar: Mohali came out firing on all cylinders to bundle out Sangrur for just 110 runs. Raj Kamal was the only batsman to put up some resistance with a 65-run knock. For Mohali, Amit Srivastava took three wickets. In reply, Mohali were 126 for 2 at the draw of the stumps.
