Livin' It Up

Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony has issued the following update via his website (www.madanthonycafe.com):

"Michael, Sammy Hagar, Vic Johnson and David Lauser will be "Livin' It Up" this summer as Mad Anthony himself will be going out on the road with Hagar as The Other Half; part of Hagar's Livin' It Up 2006 North American Summer Tour!

It's gonna be a hell of a fiesta as a Cabo Wabo village is planned jammed with bikini girls, body builders, mariachi bands, food, drink, contests and probably some other cool stuff to boot!

We'll post tour dates when we get 'em. In the mean time, check out www.redrocker.com for additional info. See ya this summer!"

A few months ago, I ranted about having been at a pool party in Glendora at which Van Halen (no, not Mammoth)was not payed for playing, so a drunk and roudy Mike Anthony took a dump in the pool. Come to think of it, the guy who did not pay the band was a guy named Garcia...undoubtedly a Mexican. Perhaps this sowed the seeds of edwards anti-Mexican rage?

You need to look no further than the 1984 record with the addition of all the keys to see that Eddie was headed down the path of disaster. Whenever I hear certain tracks off 1984 I can't help but wonder what would have happened if he didn't add the keys. Keyboards & Booze ruined it all

i saw them with dlr (US festival) and with sammy (monsters). even though dave was too fucked up to remember the words to runnin' with the devil, he's still a better part of vh than sammy . Hagar is a great solo artist, and should stay that way

Thank you for clarifying that I am a faggot racist. In reality, I am neither homo nor racist, but here with the mongos...mongo is as mongo does. This is proof that God hates us all. let's kill ourselves and end this meanigless shit. You go first.

i'm not gay! i'm joking about being gay to show you i'm not gay!..........i love gay people...vaginas or not---they tend to be radical in thought...but i hate closet queers...they -like all of the xxxxxx's of the world- are dangerous to family and society

scrapmetal - 3/10/2006 2:06:57 AM
A LOT of Homoerotic references-methinks.ALmost as if he knows what its really like.

blobber hates being called a racist everyone...he may be- but bigger is that he is a clown who thinks it's funny to be racist and worries about being latently racist so jokes about it better than out of closet racists...sort of an Andy Dick of racists...hmmm blobber does a lot of gay shit too.

I second Avengekiller's thought-thats why its such a letdown to see the decline of the master.Eddie revolutionary technique & string of monster recordings & tours can only be compared to Hendrix for impact and effect on the guitar playing & record buying public.Except we didnt see Jimi decline-he cashed in his chips quickly like so many other 60's rockers.

Avengerkillerof - 3/9/2006 12:50:45 PM
Viva la raza gringo.

Blobber - 3/9/2006 11:22:32 AM
Randy hated Mexicans too...what's up with that shit?

Avengerkillerof - 3/9/2006 10:11:50 AM
I prefer Randy's playing too, but you can't deny Edward's contribution.

nextdrink - 3/9/2006 10:08:12 AM
Say what you want Randy Rhoades wil wipe the floor with his ego ass! Randy is the true Guitar God.

Avengerkillerof - 3/9/2006 8:23:19 AM
Say what you want... the man revolutionised modern guitar playing.

Blobber - 3/8/2006 11:29:20 PM
I heard EVH, like Glen Campbell did some studio work and a few live gigs with the Beach Boys in the mid-1960s. The Beach Boys never killed any Mexicans, though.
