HAGAR REFORMS WITH VAN HALEN BANDMATE FOR TEQUILA FESTIVAL

Rocker SAMMY HAGAR is set to reunite with former VAN HALEN bandmate MICHAEL ANTHONY when he performs at a tequila-fuelled festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, this summer (06). The singer will host a two-day Cabo Wabo event at Caesars Palace Outdoor Pavilion in July (06), and he has invited Anthony to join him on stage. Hagar, who owns the Cabo Wabo Tequila brand, plans to turn the Pavilion into a carnival with sand volleyball courts, bikini contests and mariachi bands, which will serve as the warm-up entertainment before his shows. When Anthony joins him onstage, Hagar hopes to perform a series of classic Van Halen tracks.
