'Sahara Hotnights' is a Swedish rock band.

Biography
Join four fifteen-year-old adolescents with a lot of energy to spend, living in a small village, where playing at a music school is the main way for having fun. Now grab some albums from The Clash, Nirvana, Ramones, Blondie, Runaways, etc., and make those four kids love it. This is what happened to Sahara Hotnights.
In 1996, at Umeå, Sweden, four girls joined to play rock music and fight teenage boredom (1996 is the "official" formation date, but surely Sahara Hotnights started prior to this date).
In 1997 Sahara Hotnights released an EP, "Suits Anyone Fine," that launched the Hotnights to the moon. Soon they signed with the Swedish label Speech, releasing a couple of singles and then their first LP, "C'mon, Lets Pretend." Their first album is a riot-grrl consistent album, with hits like "Drive Dead Slow."
In 2001, Jennie Bomb is released. Jennie Bomb has two main singles:
"Alright, Alright" and "On Top Of Your World". The first singles has a hard rock ska version riff of the Ramones CJ-era Strenght To Endure. The second one is more indie than hard rock.
In 2004, Kiss & Tell is released, bringing retro tracks. Hot Night Crash is the first single, but most of people would enjoy the whole album, specially the opening track, Who Do You Dance For?, and the 8th track, Stay, Stay Away. Difference Between Love And Hell is surely the most retro song on this album.
Between the release of Jennie Bomb and Kiss & Tell, Sahara Hotnights supported other bands on their own careers, especially The Hives.
Also, Sahara Hotnights is part of a new generation of Swedish bands, which includes The Hives, International Noise Conspiracy, Mando Diao, Refused and Hellacopters.
