What We're Into

We likey the music this week. Rilo Kiley, Bob Schneider and "IKEA" all get nods from us. But let's not forget about Jack vs. Sawyer.

Who's hotter? Apple or orange? Toast or bagel? Beer or liquor? Brandon or Dylan? These are my daily decisions. But lately, I've become fixated on deciding between Jack and Sawyer of "Lost." I thought their poker showdown a few episodes ago would convince me Jack was The One, but there's just something about Sawyer and my penchant for bad boys. - SD

Sweet music. What would happen if the cute kid from "Salute Your Shorts" and the girl from "The Wizard" teamed up years later? You'd get the best band I've heard in a long time: Rilo Kiley. You're hot. You're cool. I love you. You haven't added me as your MySpace friend yet, but whatever. Just keep making more music. - CR

IKEA. As if just shopping there wasn't reward enough, now you can sing about it. Download Jonathan Coulton's song "IKEA" (sample lyrics: "Everyone has a home / But if you don't have a home you can buy one there") for free at jonathancoulton.com. And check out other songs. He posts a new one each week. - CS

Come back, Bob. I know this was a week and a half ago, but I'm still into the awesome show Bob Schneider put on at the Mews a couple weekends ago. That's because each of his live performances is recorded and sold after the show, so you can keep listening to your drunk friend heckle him offstage for weeks to come. - TL

(and what we're over)

Don't page me. You know that woman's voice that chimes in on voicemail greetings, "If you'd like to leave a numeric page, please press 5"? Page, shmage. Have you ever left or received one? If you added up all the time in your life you spend listening to that, it would probably be a good 15 minutes — long enough to find that lady's phone number and order a dozen pizzas delivered to her door. - MM
