Ashcroft concerned for Arctic Monkeys

Richard Ashcroft is concerned the media frenzy surrounding teen rockers Arctic Monkeys could destroy them.

The former The Verve frontman fears the pressure of the group's meteoric rise to stardom could eventually have a detrimental effect on frontman Alex Turner.

He says, "He's a very young guy and you'd be surprised how he'll suddenly be like honey.

"There'll be so many bees buzzing around him, everyone will want their little bit."
