Poison The Well Information

'Poison The Well' (commonly abbreviated as 'PTW') is a melodic-hardcore/metalcore, initially noisecore emo, band from Miami, Florida. They are one of the most respected and well known bands of their type and have gained an enormous influence since their first release in 1998.
They are currently on Atlantic Records, after releasing several albums with the hardcore label Trustkill.
They have toured alongside such prominent bands as The Dillinger Escape Plan and are part of this year's first annual Sounds Of The Underground tour.
In 2004, PTW members Geoff Bergman and Derek Miller, bassist and six-year guitarist, respectively, departed the band. Of the departure, Derek said, "... quite simply, my heart is no longer in it."
