DETROIT, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Rapper Obie Trice hopes his new album will show the world he's more than just a protege of fellow Detroiter Eminem. "He's done a lot for me," says Trice, who's just released his second album, "Second Round's on Me," on Eminem's Shady Records label.

Rapper Obie Trice was driving on the Lodge Freeway in the suburb of Southfield in Michigan when he got shot through the back window of his car around 1:10 in the middle of the night. Luckily the bullet only grazed Obie's head and thus was very lucky.
