Vicki Morris to Support Existing NorthStar Clients and Accelerated Adoption of NorthStar's Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- NorthStar, a leading provider of enterprise-class wealth management software solutions to the financial services industry, today announced that it has hired Vicki Morris as Vice President of Marketing. Morris will be responsible for leading NorthStar's global marketing initiatives and next generation launch plans. Prior to NorthStar, Morris was Vice President of Marketing at Saba Software, Inc., where she helped the company grow from $34 million in revenue to a $100 million revenue run rate.

Morris is joining NorthStar at a time of accelerated growth. NorthStar recently concluded a strong second quarter, and has plans to add more depth and value to its industry-leading enterprise wealth management system. As Vice President of Marketing, Morris will launch this suite, generate market awareness of customer successes, create a community of Wealth Managers, evaluate new solution components and determine ways to deliver additional value to more customers in new markets both regionally and globally. Overall, Morris brings more than 16 years of enterprise software and financial services marketing experience, bringing the NorthStar executive team's combined industry experience to more than 175 years.

Overall, Morris has a well rounded background in enterprise software and financial services marketing. Prior to Saba, Morris was a marketing executive at PeopleSoft, where she led global launches and a major marketing initiative focused at bringing value to the financial services industry. Before PeopleSoft, Morris was a Director at Sun Microsystems where she was responsible for creating the Financial Services go-to-market strategy and materials, and was responsible for launching the first commercial version of Java(TM), with design input from leading Wall Street firms. Sun Microsystems awarded her the President's Award for best contribution to the company for her efforts in Java Marketing. Morris received a Bachelors of Science from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
