Pitbull, Don Omar, Nina Sky, Tantro Metro & Devonte and Voltio will be the main attractions later this month at this year's LIFEbeat's "Hearts & Voices" Benefit Concert Series aptly titled "Reggaeton Explosion 3."

LIFEbeat, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising AIDS awareness, debuted the concert series in 2004 with the help of Roc-A-Fella artists including Kanye West.

LIFEbeat has also teamed up with NYC radio station Hot 97 to help promote AIDS prevention. Other media outlets including MTV Networks, BET and Vibe Magazine will help sponsor the event.

"Reaching the Latino community with HIV/AIDS prevention messages through the 'Heart and Voices' Concert Series is a top priority for us at LIFEbeat," said LIFEbeat Executive Director John Cannelli via a statement. "We are extremely grateful to partner with Hot 97 to promote prevention on their airwaves and we salute all the talented artists who will lend their voices to this event."

AIDS remains the second leading cause of death among Americans between the ages of 25 and 44 and New York City has the highest number of Latino adults/adolescents living with AIDS, more any other state in the country.

In related news, Daddy Yankee made history on Monday (March 6) at the ASCAP Latino Music Awards when he became ASCAP's most awarded Reggaetón artist in the history of the genre. Daddy Yankee was named Songwriter of the Year, and also picked up awards for Latin Song of the Year and Urban Song of the Year.

"Reggaeton Explosion 3" will be held Wednesday, March 29 at New York's Spirit nightclub.
