	featured news Morrissey Tours Again Mon, 20 Aug 2007 11:52:08 Canceled ticket holders of the world unite! Perhaps this is Morrissey's way of making it up to those New York City natives disappointed by the cancellation of the Madison Square Garden gig. If that's the case, then heaven's knows they're no longer miserable now. The former frontman of The Smiths has announced a string of residencies in San Francisco's Fillmore Theater, Los Angeles' Palladium and New York's Hammerstein Ballroom. In addition, Morrissey will perform in one-night shows in other select cities throughout the United States. Billboard.com also reports that former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr mentioned to the British music magazine The Word that The Smiths boxed set should be out some time in the next year-and-a-half. These are the dates: Sept. 20: Tijuana, Mexico (El Foro) Sept. 21: Las Vegas (the Pearl) Sept. 23-24, 26-27, 29: San Francisco (Fillmore) Sept. 29: Santa Barbara, Calif.
