'mewithoutYou' is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based post-hardcore band. They are known for their original vocal style and extremely deep lyrics, both by lead vocalist Aaron Weiss, as well as their prominent bass riffs and melodic guitar. mewithoutYou's current popularity can be attributed to their contact with the Christian record label Tooth and Nail Records and the release of their first two albums: A to B: Life and Catch For Us the Foxes.
In 2005, mewithoutYou was nominated for mtvU's Woodie Awards. They received the Left Field Woodie Award given to the most original artist of the nominees.
