Curt Kirkwood
9 p.m. Saturday, Blueberry Hill's Elvis Room, 6504 Delmar Boulevard. $8. 314-534-1111
Since the original lineup of the Meat Puppets split over a decade ago, singer-songwriter-guitarist Curt Kirkwood has been casting about for new ways to keep the music going. He's played on his own, with a new version of the Puppets and with the quasi-supergroup Eyes Adrift, featuring Nirvana's Krist Novoselic and Sublime's Bud Gaugh. Kirkwood's latest move is the solo album "Snow," produced by Pete Anderson (Dwight Yoakam, Moot Davis). The disc finds the indie-rock hero heading in a mostly acoustic direction but still rocking out when the mood suits him.
