*Bossip.com claims it has confirmation that actress Keisha Knight Pulliam, a.k.a. Rudy from “The Cosby Show,” has a cocaine habit “that goes back years.” The story notes: “Keisha ran in an elite circle of Morehouse and Spelman students in Atlanta who dabbled in cocaine while in college.
*Media Take Out says it’s learned that Russell Simmons’ BlackBerry, which was lost at a Fashion Week event in NY, may contain steamy e-mail messages between the mogul and another man. The news, however, comes from the same source that reported a completely bogus story about Ne-Yo coming out of the closet in the new Essence magazine.
*Celebrity Pictures has photos of Beyonce’s publicity stunt riding the New York City subway (the “B” train, of course) to a CD signing for “B’Day.”
*XXL's "Talkin' Reckless" details the near run-in between Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown at the Baby Phat dinner after-party in NY, as well as other tidbits from the fashion show.
*Vibe Confidential reports that a comeback by sultry singer Maxwell is on the horizon. “He’s put up a page on MySpace to promote his upcoming trilogy Black Summer's Night,” VC writes. “A new single is set to drop in a few weeks along with numerous panties.”
*In Touch Weekly is reporting that Mariah Carey has hired stylist Jenny Phillips to spray her with bronzer before every performance of her "Emancipation of Mimi" tour. "They are developing an exclusive line of bronzer containing real 24-karat gold dust," confirmed a rep for Carey.
*The New York Post is reporting that another rapper, this time ... DMX, has a problem with Jay-Z. Seems X told Vibe that he can't quite believe Jigga has the nerve to wear flip-flops! He blames you-know-wh "The flip-flops - he's just not the same," DMX complains in Vibe magazine. "It's Beyonce. He's a sucker for love. Thugs don't do flip-flops. Yo, no matter how much vacation I'm on - we been to St. Thomas, Bahamas, all the little islands - I don't wear no flip-flops. I'm never that comfortable, not even in my own house."
