'Llama Farmers' were a Grunge Pop band from Greenwich, United Kingdom who were active in the late 1990's.
The band consisted of William Briggs (guitar), Brooke Rogers (Drums) with Bernie Simpson (singing) and his sister Jenni Simpson (bass guitar). The band formed in 1997.
The band were noted for being very young and they supported the Foo Fighters when none of the band were out of their teens. They recorded their debut session for Steve Lamacq shortly afterwards. Their debut single "Paper Eyes" was released in spring 1998.
In early 1999 the band opened for the NME annual tour of up and coming bands and their debut album Dead Letter Chorus was released on Beggers Banquet shortly afterwards. Their second album El Toppo followed in 2001.
