Kool Keith at First Ave. July 14

Weirdo hip-hop icon Kool Keith will pull into town for a gig at First Avenue on July 14.

Tickets are $14 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. today through Ticketmaster.

Other new shows going on sale via Ticketmaster include:

• Jam band the Samples; 8 p.m. July 18; 7th Street Entry; $11; on sale at 10 a.m. today.

• Jon Spencer's Heavy Trash; 8 p.m. Sept. 24; 7th Street Entry; $9.50; on sale at 10 a.m. today.
