'Kina' (b. January 25, 1969) is an American musician best known for her single "Girl from the Gutter". She achieved prominence in 2000 with her self-titled album containing the single.
Born Kina Cosper on January 25 in Detroit, Michigan, she joined the Grammy nominated band Brownstone in 1995. She left the band in 1997 to pursue a solo career. Her only album, Kina, was released on July 18, 2000, which included the singles "Me" and "Girl From The Gutter". She currently can be seen playing small roles in film and television.
In Fall 2005 "Give & Take" from her debut album Kina appeared in an episode of the UPN show Girlfriends.
