IS LUPE OK?

Lupe Fiasco was supposed to perform in San Francisco a couple days ago, but was apparently in a car accident of some sort. Now, I cannot verify how valid that is. I will be certain to keep you up to speed on this. As far as I know, Lupe is still on to appear with Styles P., Rhymefest and many other emcees at the Breeding Ground showcase on Tuesday! Speaking of Chi-Town and AHH's Breeding Ground, shout out to Naledge. Read the message below from a site promoting the event.

"Hi All, please note tonight’s show with Lupe Fiasco at The Independent has been cancelled. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. I apologize for the late notice. We just learned that apparently Lupe Fiasco was injured in a car accident yesterday in Chicago and will not be able to perform this evening."

KHIA HITS UP TRINA!

Now, I admit I liked the Trina diss, but I have to give props to Khia - she came right back with her own lyrical drive-by. She didn't hold much back either. Khia rolls with the rumor that Trina had been with Baby of Cash Money prior to Lil' Wayne by saying, "What you gonna name ya baby? Baby? I love ya Lil' Weezy, but that ain't ya baby!" Then she suggests some other things that have been swirling about Trina and a rumored miscarriage. This beef is getting very ugly. Whew! This one is so raw, I have to just refer you to Khia's Myspace page. Tell her illseed sent ya!

Here is yesterday's AllHipHop.com news alert: Harlem, New York rapper Juelz Santana has been confirmed as a featured performer during AllHipHop.com's AllHipHop Week 2006 Grand Finale Concert, taking place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Santana joins an all-star lineup that includes G-Unit's Lloyd Banks, Paul Wall, The Clipse, Remy Ma, Papoose and Joe Budden. This is a hurtful one. The word on the streets is OutKast has already broken up. Of course we have long-heard of their being a rift between the two, but now they could be "Wrap City." I hope this is false, but if its true, I have enough good music from them to last the rest o my life.

I heard Bizzy Bone might have signed a 3-album deal with Virgin Records. Meanwhile, the rest of the Bone Thugs are over at J Records.

I heard Big Wendall (New York City's own) had some funny comments to say about AllHipHop, which just hurt my heart. Well, B.W. nobody said anything about you looking like a cross-dressing sculpture with nostrils that could snort cooked clay rocks. Come on, stop playing. Bush is the president of America, but Big Wendall is the definitive president of Transamerica - not that there is anything wrong with that. God Bless and I still love ya, Big Wendall.

I heard Chingy is looking for a models for his new clothing line called Pink Money. If you didn't already know, this is only for women and Big Wendall.

Killer Mike is still down with Purple Ribbon, despite the rumors to the contrary. Big Killa is just setting up his own roster of artists and dropping an indie album before his major follow-up.
