Rowland slams pregnancy rumours

R+B singer Kelly Rowland has slammed reports she is putting her career on hold following her 'shock pregnancy'.
The former Destiny's Child star, 25, was at the centre of internet reports last week claiming she was pregnant and was delaying the launch of her second solo album.
Reports quoted an interview with Keith Slogan of AMGMusic.com, which quoted Rowland as saying, "My pregnancy was definitely a surprise! Its kind of a bitter-sweet feeling because I was planning to release an album next year."
However, the Stole hitmaker insists she is not set to become a mother and is looking forward to the next stage in her career.
A statement from the singer's record label Sony BMG reads, "Contrary to rumours appearing online and in the tabloids, Kelly Rowland, of Destiny's Child, is not pregnant.
"Statements attributed to Kelly regarding her alleged pregnancy were never made by the artist and a purported interview with the AMG never took place."
Rowland is currently single since splitting from ex-fiance, American football player Roy Williams, last year.
