Among those scheduled to participate in the "Colombia Without Mines" event are Alejandro Sanz, Carlos Vives, Ricardo Montaner, Ana Gabriel, Juan Luis Guerra, Laura Pausini and Luis Fonsi.
The concert will be held May 24 at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Juanes announced this week. Funds will go to help 500 children in need of artificial limbs.
"I am very thankful to all the artists that have accepted my invitation for this event that will help many victims, especially the 500 hundred children that have been mutilated by the mines and are in need of prosthetics," the 33-year-old singer said in a statement. "By performing at this show, these artists will be able to permanently help the victims."
In the past 15 years, 4,500 people have died as a result of stepping on land mines in Colombia, a country torn by conflict among leftist rebels, right-wing paramilitaries and the army.
The land mines have disabled more than 1,000 people each year, the statement said.
