Washington, Jan 8(ANI): Pop icon, Michael Jackson's brother, Jermaine has slammed reports that said his superstar younger brother 'is bankrupt'.

Appearing on UK TV show 'Celebrity Big Brother', Jermaine told host Jade Goody that the reports were something the media wanted the public to believe.

"No, not at all. That's what they (the media) want you to think," rate the music quoted him, as saying on the show.

'The Thriller' singer's older sibling also said that his brother underwent plastic surgery to change things that he was not happy with, but that hasn't changed Michael-the person.

"There were probably things he wasn't happy about so he changed them. But underneath he is still Michael, " he said. (ANI )
