'Ill Niño' is a Nu Metal band from New Jersey, USA.
Ill Niño is heavily influenced by the nu metal band Soulfly, and share some similarities in sound and style. They frequently use classical guitar melodies and Brazilian tribal percussion on top of a standard drum kit. They were originally called El Niño but changed to Ill Niño because El Niño was already taken by another band.
