Michael Jackson, who announced his pending departure as president and chief operating officer of Royal Host Real Estate Investment Trust this week, will be taking on the same roles at Holloway Lodging REIT effect Sept. 15.
Halifax-based Holloway owns 20 hotels and motels in Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. They operate under banners including Radisson, Holiday Inn and Super 8.
"We look forward to welcoming Michael to our organization and consider his 30 plus years of national hotel experience to be a tremendous asset to Holloway. This experience will enhance our operations and growing hotel portfolio," said Glenn Squires, CEO of Holloway, in a statement.
