FUN LOVIN' CRIMINALS singer HUEY MORGAN nearly decided against joining the US Marines after watching STANLEY KUBRICK's 1987 movie FULL METAL JACKET. The SCOOBY SNACKS hitmaker was in trouble with the law as a youth and choose to become a marine after a judge gave him a choice between the armed forces or jail. Morgan says, "I saw it (Full Metal Jacket) the day before I left for the marines and I thought: 'Boy, what have I got myself into?' "When I came back, I watched it again and I was like: 'Wow, that's so accurate!'"
