Blue October: The rock band behind the song "Hate Me" plays an all-ages show at 8 p.m. Sept. 20 at the New Oasis, 2100 Victorian Ave., Sparks. Tickets are $16 in advance, $18 at the door, available at Recycled Records, Out of Bounds in Carson City, Mad About Music Tahoe locations and www.ticketweb.com. Details: 826-4119.

Flogging Molly: The Irish punk band plays an all-ages show with opening acts Bedouin Soundclash and Zox at 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the New Oasis, 2100 Victorian Ave., Sparks.
