Dave Chappelle and Maya Angelou. Quentin Tarantino and Fiona Apple. Eddie Vedder and Laird Hamilton.
Those are some of the dynamic duos to be featured in the second season of Sundance Channel's Iconoclasts, premiering at 9 p.m. Oct. 26, the channel announced.
Each one-hour episode in the six-part series, executive produced by Robert Redford, pairs ''two leading innovators from different fields who come together to discuss their passions and creative processes,'' the channel said.
Other high-profile matchups include Paul Simon and Lorne Michaels; Mikhail Baryshnikov and chef Alice Waters; and Isabella Rossellini and inventor Dean Kamen.
''These individuals have made a significant impact in their respective fields, and when combined, create endless possibilities for great storytelling,'' said Sundance Channel CEO Larry Aidem in a statement.
HEY, 'CURB' FANS
We can exhale now. Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm, long presumed dead, is coming back for a sixth season, HBO confirms.
Not surprisingly, Curb freaks assumed it was over after last season's Dec. 4 finale -- titled The End -- in which Larry harasses his guardian angel after donating a kidney to save pal Richard Lewis.
Production on 10 episodes will begin in October, HBO says, for a run in '07. Regulars Cheryl Hines, Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman are expected to return.

BETTY'S NEW SLOT
Ugly's sitting pretty at ABC.
Ugly Betty, the new telenovela-based comedy originally scheduled for Fridays (Wasteland), will move to Thursdays (Promised Land), ABC announced.
The hour-long Betty, produced by Salma Hayek, stars America Ferrera as a normal-size square peg in the tiny round hole of a tres chic fashion magazine. (El Diablo Wears Prada?)
Betty's been generating so much good buzz that it's going to 8 p.m. Thursdays, leading into the relocated hit Grey's Anatomy. The new lineup debuts Sept. 28.
Current 8 p.m. Thursday occupants -- freshman sitcoms Big Day and Notes From the Underbelly -- will launch later in the fall after Dancing With the Stars completes its run, ABC says.
America's Funniest Home Videos will continue double duty on Fridays and Sundays, as it has since March.
