Fenix TX Information
Fenix TX
'Fenix*TX' is an American pop punk band. The band formed in 1995 and split at 2002. In September 2005 the band announced a reunion/farewell tour across the United States.
The band's original title was Riverfenix, but they were forced to change it due to conflicts with the estate of the dead actor River Phoenix. They changed their name to Fenix*TX in 1997 and had two successful singles, "All My Fault" and "Threesome". Another song called 'Skinhead Jessie' has been named by many fans as their favorite song, even though it does not appear on either of Fenix*TX's releases as Fenix*TX (It was on the original S/T when they were 'Riverfenix').
The band broke up in late 2002, with guitarist Adam Lewis and drummer Damon De La Paz continuing to work together, expanding their side project Sing the Body Electric.
The band reunited in 2005 for a reunion/farewell tour, and a live album, recorded on the tour, has been announced. The album was released on the 8th of November, 2005, under the title Purple Reign in Blood - Live.
