A Morrisville teenager Monday pleaded guilty to grave-robbing and stealing the head of a corpse.
Police say Nickolas Buckalew,17, broke into a tomb at the Morrisville Cemetery in April 2005, removed the head of the entombed corpse, and brought the skull to his home. Buckalew reportedly told friends he wanted to the use the skull as a marijuana bong. Monday Buckalew pled guilty to charges of damaging a tomb and unauthorized removal of human remains. Under the terms of the plea agreement, he faces from one to seven years behind bars, which will be determined by the judge at sentencing next month. For now Buckalew is being held on bail set at $100,000 and he is also completing a prison sentence for prior convictions for burglary, possession of stolen property, unlawful mischief, and auto theft.
