Eisley Heads Back on the Road With Headlining Tour Band Returns to the Studio to Record New Album This Spring NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 14, 2006 -- Reprise Records' Eisley are heading back on
the road for a two-month headlining tour of North America.
After the tour,
the band is scheduled to return to the studio to record
the highly
anticipated follow-up to their well-received album "Room
Noises." The band
will be previewing new songs during their live set on this
tour. Audiences far and wide have come to love the dreamy, ethereal indie pop sound of Eisley. Their signature harmonies are soothing and permeating leaving fans thirsting for more. The Texas-based quintet is comprised of four brothers and sisters in Chauntelle, Sherri, Weston, and Stacy DuPree, plus their cousin and most recent addition Garron DuPree. The group has carved out an incredible following over the past few years, while also garnering critical media attention. In 2005, immediately following the release of "Room Noises," Eisley was hailed as Blender's "Band To Watch," and won Yahoo!'s "Who's Next" artist, a distinction determined entirely by fans. They were also nominated for an MTVu Woodie award, which honors the best in music amongst college students. Subsequently, the band's larger-than-life energy earned them tours with Brand New, Coldplay, and Switchfoot, giving them a platform for their own headlining tour last year, which was sold out. Joining the lineup on this run are Record Collection artists Simon Dawes and Timmy Curran. Simon Dawes are a must-see band on this tour.
