Eightball And MJG Information

'Eightball and MJG' are a US Southern hip hop duo from Memphis, Tennessee.
They are responsible for helping to develop much of the underground rap network in the deep south, and then helping to connect this network to other regional undergrounds in the United States, such as the rich scene in Houston, Texas. This was done both through collaborations and distribution deals.
They are often compared to the Texas duo UGK because both acts have gained a lot of underground respect and have funk-laced Southern rap styles.
They signed with Suave House records initially but moved to Diddy's Bad Boy Records in 2002.
