Donell Jones is a Chicago-bred R&B tenor signed to LaFace Records. Best known for his hit U Know What's Up, featuring Left-Eye as well as his cover of Stevie Wonder's Knocks Me Off My Feet (shocking the R&B fans as Wonder is difficult to cover due only in part to his usual tessitura), he has maintained popularity in the R&B market, but like nu soul singer Tamia, still is relatively obscure in the mainstream.
